Instructions to Sell New, Used & Old Version Software

Currently, we are buying a variety of PC, MAC, OS/2 and Linux based titles. We consider buying most anything, however the list in the right margin is what commands a premium. You may be pleasantly surprised what your older version software is worth!

There are three main requirements for the software we buy:

The software needs to be retail. We do not buy Academic/Education software, OEM software, Not for Resale/Retail software or any other non-retail software.
The software needs to be complete including the retail box, manual, & software. We do make a few exceptions to this rule for very hard to find software. For further details on our buying restrictions and specific requirements for various software click here.
The software needs to be legally transferred to a new user if it has been opened/used. How do we determine this? The transfer of rights is spelled out in the license agreement. Most popular software from the major publishers can be transferred after it has been used. For more information about legal license transfers click here.

Instructions for form:

Quantity: Number you wish to sell.

Title: Publisher, Title and version. Example: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional

Condition: New/Sealed = factory sealed in mfg's original packaging. Used/Open = anything else.

Box/Manual: If the box and manual are not included, we are most likely not interested. By checking the check boxes, you are indicating the box and/or manual will be included. By leaving the check boxes un-checked, you are indicating the box and/or manual is not included and will most likely not be included in your quote.
Part Number: Part numbers are very important for an accurate quote. If you do not know the part number take a look at these Examples.
Operating system the software is designed to run on (Windows, Mac, etc.).

Once we receive your list we will ask for clarifications if need be and then supply a quote. We will email the quote to the email address provided. If the offer you receive is acceptable to you, the items can then be sent to us via the U.S. mail. We strongly suggest both insurance and tracking for your shipment. We will reimburse you for the shipping cost up to Priority Mail level. If you choose to use express mail or an overnight shipping option, we will not reimburse the cost of shipping.

When we receive your shipment you will be notified by email and the software will be checked for completeness. If everything is in order you will then be paid either through PayPal (preferred method) or sent a check. You will choose your payment option on the release form (included with quote). If everything is not in order, you may receive a revised quote or your software will be returned at your expense. Normally, this transaction takes approximately seven to ten business days so please be patient. In advance, thank you for your participation in our program!
