What is Retrosoftware?

"Purveyors of fine software", family owned and operated since 1998. As our name indicates, we specialize in older version software, operating on the trailing edge of software technology. Retrosoftware is a Limited Liability Company operating in the state of Michigan and our only business is buying and selling software. There is no physical store you can visit, all transactions are handled through our Yahoo! hosted website.

You can count on us to provide real customer service. Given the opportunity, you will find doing business with us a breath of fresh air. We will make every attempt, with in reason, to deal in good faith and satisfy your software needs.

Retrosoftware's warehouse and offices are located in an old winery built in 1898. Our software stock is housed in rooms that were used to age wine, now aging software (our hope is the software will age as well as wine). We offer a safe place to buy genuine, new, used and older version software. All software is received by us, inspected for legitimacy, and shipped to our customers by us. We do not participate in drop shipping programs so you know what you ordered has been through our quality checks. And, more importantly, we deal only in retail software. We do not sell Academic, OEM, or Not For Resale (NFR) software. When you see auctions or merchants offering software for drastic discounts, this is often the type of software being offered. You will not find that here. We also abide by all software license agreements. If a license can not be legally transferred,  we will not sell the software. Bottom line is you can feel safe relying on our 10 years of experience in dealing in software sales.

Green is definitely a "buzz" word these days and to say Retrosoftware is green would be stretching it a bit. But in our small way we collect and re-distribute software that remains useful and recycle what has come to the end of it's useful life. We get software from auction, individuals, companies, governments and anywhere else we can find legitimate software that still useful. We have supplied tens of thousands of customers ranging from Fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies, individuals and everything in between.
